The 2009 LGcomms annual conference, held on 20th-22nd May, was a great success. Almost two hundred communicators came to hear an unparalleled line up of speakers discuss the route to the top for communicators, their teams and their councils.
At the conference, a number of publications were launched: ‘Six steps to better district communications’, ‘Proving the impact of council publications’, ‘The commission on competencies for senior communication roles’, ‘Making an impact by Mark Fletcher and the ‘Thank goodness it’s Monday’ film on staff engagement. All of these can be downloaded under resources.
