The start of a new financial year presents us with an opportunity to assess the year gone by in a way that we sometimes can’t do in the day-to-day haze of local authority communications. And that can only be a good thing – sit back and see what went well, and not so well and refresh your approach in 2019. Comms spending will be questioned. Now’s the time to think about value and return on investment. By the time senior leaders have written the brief for an external evaluation it will be too late.
